Direct and Indirect Influences of Zachary Taylor on Westward Expansion of the US

Zachary Taylor.jpg

Zachary Taylor was a very notable figure in the mid-1800's. He played major roles in countless wars against Indian tribes, played a massive role as a leading general of the United States military in the war against Mexico that lasted from 1846-1848 where he saw great success, and he served as the 12th United States President but for only about a year. Nicknamed "Rough and Ready" he was quite the personality and known for being a brute force kinda guy. This digital presentation goes through his life and how many of the events and opinions he held had direct and indirect impacts on the westward expansion of the United States of America. Without his contributions, America would not have been able to expand as quickly or vastly as it did.
