Binding Notes

  • Red, morocco leather binding. 
  • Gilt, double fillet border on both covers. 
  • Spine has five raised bands; is divided into six compartments. Title is gold-tooled in second compartment from head. Other compartments repeat a gold-tooled floral pattern. 
  • Gold-tooled board edges.
  • Wide-comb marbled endpapers.
