Alice C. Jenison is more than an anonymous grave. She lived a whole life and had an affect while she could breath. It's important to acknowledge her life and learn from it. Alice was passionate about preserving history and taking pride in it. Her work with Old College hall and DAR supports this idea. Others seemed equally as passionate as her and it brings into question the role of history in identity. These people were extremely proud of their heritage and landscape. Perhaps this says something about human nature, the times or maybe this is just about Alice. In any case, the valuable lessons of these individuals are waiting to be found.
