Specimen Data (Morphology)

Skull D2700 is associated with mandible D2735. Partially erupted third molars in the mandible shows that this individual was a subadult. Several loose teeth found with the specimen fit into the mandible and skull.

The mid-facial region of D2700 has damage to it, as can be seen in the image. Portions of the orbital and maxillary regions are highly damaged and distorted. There is additional damage to the mastoid processes and zygomatic arches.

Apart from the distorted mid-face, the specimen is very complete. Unsurprisingly, the specimen is small with a cranial capacity of 600 cm3.
